an ending letter from the cozy*kit dev
Hello everyone! My name is Janine Regala, also known as hapitchy. I am the creator, artist, and developer of cozy*kit, an online ADHD resource kit.
The project was created for my college web development subject, where we were tasked to design and create an original website from scratch. I saw this project as an opportunity to do what I’ve always wanted to strive for, which is to open up more discussions about mental health and what it’s like to live with ADHD. I wanted to use this chance to help people who were struggling like I was—to let them know that they’re not alone, and that, with a lot of compassion and patience (and even a bit of practice), they can learn to live a life that accommodates and “works with their brain, not against it”, as Jessica McCabe (from HowToADHD) would always say.
This website is incredibly dear to my heart, and is a product of my love and hard work—my past experiences and learnings. I hope that through this project of mine, you, dear reader, are able to feel hope and inspiration to keep going—to keep fighting and trudging through life, stubbornly and with a smile.
Remember always that you have a little guy in this corner of the internet rooting for you. Thank you for being here, and thank you for being you. <3
